Wie die Ratsche funktioniert
Die Ratsche ermöglicht das Anziehen oder Lösen, ohne den Schlüssel von der Schraube abnehmen zu müssen. Je mehr Zähne, desto kleiner der zum Eingreifen erforderliche Winkel – 72 Zähne bedeuten, dass sogar bei 5° Freiraum gearbeitet werden kann.
Auswahl der Schlüsselgröße
Die Schlüsselgröße muss dem Schlüsselweitenmaß der Schraube oder Mutter entsprechen. Ein zu großer Schlüssel passt nicht auf den Kopf, ein zu kleiner sitzt locker und kann die Kanten beschädigen. Metrische Schrauben M6-M22 erfordern Schlüssel in Größen von 10 bis 32 mm – das Set deckt diesen Bereich vollständig ab.
Bei Schrauben mit beschädigtem Kopf bietet das Surface-Drive-System eine höhere Chance zum Lösen, da es an den flachen Flächen statt an den Ecken greift. In Extremfällen kann der Einsatz einer Schlagschraubernuss oder eines Schraubenausdrehers erforderlich sein.
Pflege der Schlüssel
Nach der Arbeit sind die Schlüssel von Verunreinigungen und Ölrückständen zu reinigen. Die Ratsche erfordert eine regelmäßige Schmierung – einige Tropfen Maschinenöl, die durch die Umschaltöffnung eingebracht werden, genügen. Die Aufbewahrung im Koffer schützt vor Feuchtigkeit und mechanischen Beschädigungen.
