GEKO G10341 Ratcheting Combination Spanner Set in a Case
A complete 22-piece set of ratcheting combination spanners made from chrome vanadium steel. The 6-32 mm size range covers the most common bolt and nut sizes used in automotive and mechanical work.
Technical features
72-tooth ratchet mechanism
A 72-tooth ratchet needs only a 5° working arc, which allows work in confined spaces where a full turn of the spanner is impossible. The mechanism is made from hardened steel for durability under intensive use.
Surface Drive profile
The Surface Drive system transfers torque to the flat faces of the bolt head instead of the corners. This minimises the risk of rounding the edges and makes it possible to undo fasteners with a partially damaged head.
Chrome vanadium CrV steel
The chromium-vanadium alloy offers increased resistance to abrasive wear and plastic deformation. The polished finish provides corrosion resistance and makes the tools easier to clean after work.
Plastic carry case
The spanners sit in moulded plastic holders inside a durable case. The design protects them from mechanical damage and makes it easy to identify any missing pieces.

How the ratchet mechanism works
A ratchet lets you tighten or loosen a fastener without taking the spanner off the bolt. Once the working direction is set with the reversing lever, the spanner transmits torque in one direction only; in the other direction the mechanism slips with a characteristic click. The more teeth, the smaller the arc required to engage – 72 teeth mean you can work with as little as 5° of free space.
Choosing the right spanner size
The spanner size must match the across-flats dimension of the bolt or nut. A spanner that is too large will not fit over the head; one that is too small will be loose and may damage the edges. Metric bolts from M6 to M22 require spanner sizes from 10 to 32 mm – the set covers this range completely.
On fasteners with a damaged head, the Surface Drive system offers a better chance of removal by gripping the flat faces instead of the corners. In extreme cases an impact socket or a screw extractor may be necessary.
Spanner maintenance
After work, clean the spanners of dirt and oil residue. The ratchet mechanism needs occasional lubrication – a few drops of machine oil applied through the reversing opening are enough. Storing the spanners in the case protects them from moisture and mechanical damage.
