A 34 mm long impact socket with a 1" drive, designed for fitting and removing wheel hub nuts on passenger cars, trucks and plant machinery. Made from chrome-molybdenum CrMo steel with increased resistance to impact loads.
The 1" (25.4 mm) square drive is compatible with the pneumatic and electric impact wrenches used in professional workshops. It withstands torque in excess of 1000 Nm generated by impact wrenches.
The 80 mm working length allows access to hub nuts recessed deep inside wheel rims, particularly on vehicles with large brake discs. It removes the need for extension bars, which increases stability during use.
The CrMo (chrome-molybdenum) alloy combines increased hardness with retained ductility, which prevents cracking under impact. The material withstands repeated shock loads without deforming the socket walls.
The 34 mm size matches standard hub nuts on vans, trucks and some SUV models. The 6-point profile distributes force evenly across all edges, minimising the risk of rounding off the nut corners.

Before buying, check the hub nut size with a vernier caliper or open-ended spanner. The 34 mm socket is standard on vans such as the VW Crafter, Mercedes Sprinter and Iveco Daily, as well as some Ford Transit models. If in doubt, check the vehicle's technical specification or consult the service documentation.
The impact socket must be used with impact wrenches only – do not use it with torque wrenches, as this may damage the measuring mechanism. Before each use, check the internal square drive for signs of wear.
After intensive use, clean the socket of debris and apply a thin layer of grease to the square drive. Storing it in a set or on a magnetic rail prevents loss and mechanical damage. Regularly checking the condition of the hexagon walls helps avoid rounding off nuts during use.
