This hydraulic bottle jack is designed for lifting commercial vehicles and industrial machinery weighing up to 10 tonnes. The vertical column design provides stable single-point support, allowing precise positioning under the load-bearing components of the chassis.
A load capacity of 10,000 kg allows it to handle vans, goods vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes, and construction and agricultural machinery. This figure defines the maximum vertical force the jack can transmit at the lifting point.
A minimum height of 205 mm allows the jack to be positioned under low-slung chassis. The maximum hydraulic stroke of 390 mm is sufficient for most service operations. An additional extension screw in the head extends the range by a further 60 mm (up to 450 mm in total).
A ram diameter of 40 mm is a compromise between lifting speed and the force required on the handle. A larger diameter means faster lifting with less effort from the operator, but increases the overall dimensions of the unit.
The controlled lowering mechanism prevents the load from dropping suddenly. The valve allows the lowering speed to be adjusted smoothly by gradually releasing oil from the hydraulic cylinder.

Before use, verify the vehicle's lifting points in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. A bottle jack requires access to reinforced chassis components (crossmembers, axles, designated jacking points). Check the vehicle's minimum ground clearance – it must be at least 205 mm at the lifting point.
The lifting handle acts as a hydraulic pump – each full stroke raises the ram by a few millimetres. Lowering is carried out by opening the release valve in a controlled way using the dedicated handle. Check the hydraulic oil level and the tightness of the connections regularly. The oil should be changed every 12 months or after 200 lifting cycles.
A bottle jack is intended for lifting only – never work under a vehicle supported solely by the jack. Once the vehicle has been lifted, secure it with axle stands or support blocks. The maximum 10-tonne capacity applies to a load distributed evenly across the head – point or uneven loads may damage the mechanism.
