The KD10273 is a 100 mm masonry hole saw designed for drilling holes for electrical back boxes and sockets in building materials. The set includes the hole saw, a pilot drill bit and an SDS Plus arbor, so it is ready to use straight away without buying any additional components.

HM carbide-tipped cutting rim
HM carbide (Hartmetall) is a material that is considerably harder than high-speed steel. It cuts effectively through hard building materials — concrete, brick and tiles — while keeping the cutting edges sharp for longer than carbon steel tooling.
SDS Plus arbor
The SDS Plus (Special Direct System) standard is used on hammer drills and rotary hammers. The locking grooves in the shank stop the tool from slipping out during use and allow fast bit changes without a key. Before buying, check that your drill supports the SDS Plus standard.
100 mm diameter
100 mm is a common size for fitting flush-mounted back boxes and electrical sockets. Before drilling, it is worth checking the hole size specified by the manufacturer of the electrical accessory — standard flush-mounted back boxes require a 60 mm or 68 mm hole, whereas 100 mm corresponds to larger junction or installation boxes.
Complete 3-piece set
