A straight soldering iron that uses resistive heating to reach soldering temperature. The 100W power rating ensures stable operation in typical electronic and electrical applications.
The resistive heating element built into the barrel distributes heat evenly across the tip. The straight design has a higher thermal mass than transformer soldering irons, which means a more stable temperature when soldering large surfaces.
This parameter determines the heat-up rate and the ability to transfer heat to the parts being soldered. 100W is sufficient for soldering cables with a cross-section of up to 2.5 mm² and electronic components with a medium thermal mass.
Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc with good thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance. The 5.6 mm diameter makes the iron versatile – precise enough for soldering larger SMD components, yet also suitable for installation cables.
The integrated stand allows the hot soldering iron to be set down safely during breaks in work. The design protects against accidental contact with the hot tip and damage to the work surface.

The 3-5 minute period is the time needed to reach working temperature from the moment the iron is plugged in. This time may be longer at low ambient temperatures. Before soldering for the first time, it is advisable to check the temperature by touching the tip to solder – it should melt immediately.
Regularly cleaning the tip of flux residue and oxidised solder extends its service life. The brass tip can be cleaned with a damp sponge or brass wool. After cleaning, apply a thin layer of fresh solder, which protects the surface from oxidation.
The soldering iron reaches a temperature of around 350-400°C. Always use the stand during breaks in work. The room should be ventilated because of flux fumes. After finishing work, disconnect the device from the power supply and wait for the tip to cool completely before putting it away.
