The professional YATO YT-38801 tool kit contains 120 pieces across three drive sizes – 1/2", 3/8" and 1/4" – and is intended for mechanical, service and assembly work. It is made from CrV chrome vanadium steel and fitted with 72-tooth ratchets.
Features of the YATO 1/2" tool kit
Three drive sizes in one kit
The kit covers sockets and ratchets in three drive standards: 1/2" (for heavy work at high torque), 3/8" (general-purpose use) and 1/4" (precision work in confined spaces). This means most bolted connections can be tackled without the need for separate sets.
72-tooth ratchets with 5° swing
The 72-tooth mechanism needs just 5 degrees of movement to engage the next tooth, making it possible to work in tight spaces where a full turn is not an option. The three-component handle provides a secure grip and reduces hand fatigue during prolonged use.
AS-Drive socket system
The AS-Drive internal profile increases the contact area with the corners of the bolt rather than its edges, which reduces the risk of rounding bolt heads and increases the torque transmitted by around 25% compared with conventional profiles.
S2 steel bits
S2 steel (alloy tool steel) is characterised by greater resistance to twisting and impact. The kit includes Torx, flat, Phillips, Pozidriv and HEX bits, covering most screw types encountered in mechanical and electronic work.
