A hex socket with a 1/2 inch drive and a 27 mm socket size, designed for use with torque wrenches, ratchets and impact wrenches. Made from tool steel, it offers durability under intensive use in a mechanic's workshop.
The 1/2" (12.7 mm) standard refers to the size of the square drive. Compatible with the most common ratchets, torque wrenches and workshop extension bars. Check that your tools have a 1/2" drive before purchase.
A 27 mm socket fits M16-M18 bolts and nuts. Typical applications include car wheels, suspension components and engine mountings. The dimension refers to the "across flats" size – the distance between opposite flats of the nut.
The internal six-sided profile distributes force evenly across all flats of the nut. It minimises the risk of rounding the fastener, particularly on rusted or tightly fastened joints.
Tool steel is resistant to wear and deformation under torsional loads. The material withstands the torque generated by impact wrenches and repeated tightening cycles.

The socket works with torque wrenches, ratchets, pneumatic and electric impact wrenches, and extension bars with a 1/2" drive. Before first use, check that the socket clicks securely onto the tool's drive.
When working with a torque wrench, use torque values in line with the requirements of the vehicle or machine manufacturer. For car wheels, the typical range is 80-120 Nm depending on the model. Exceeding the recommended torque may damage the thread or the fasteners.
After each use, clean the socket of dirt, oil and metal debris. Check the condition of the internal profile periodically – visible signs of wear can lead to damage to nuts. Store in a dry place, ideally on a socket rail or in a socket set.
