A 6-point deep socket with a 1/2" drive for work on 11 mm bolt heads. Its extended design provides access to bolts and nuts in deep recesses and hard-to-reach assembly points.
The 1/2" (12.7 mm) designation refers to the size of the square drive. This is the standard used for torque wrenches, ratchets and sockets for medium-to-heavy duty work. Compatible with most professional hand and air tools.
The deep version of the socket allows work in deep recesses where a standard socket cannot reach the bolt head. It is typically used on fasteners fitted on long threads or in recessed holes.
The internal 6-point profile spreads force evenly across six points of contact with the bolt head or nut. This reduces the risk of rounding the corners of the fastener when tightening or loosening.
A material that combines hardness with flexibility. The addition of chromium increases resistance to corrosion and wear, while vanadium improves mechanical strength. A typical choice for workshop tools working under load.

Before buying, check the size of the bolt head or nut using a vernier caliper or open-ended spanner. An 11 mm socket is intended for fasteners with a spanner size of exactly 11 mm. Also make sure you have a spanner or ratchet with a 1/2" drive.
When using the socket, make sure it is fully seated on the bolt head or nut. If it is not fully engaged, the corners of the fastener or the socket itself may be damaged. If you are using an impact wrench or air tool, check that the socket is designed for use with such tools.
After use, clean the socket of dirt and oil. Storing it in a dry place prevents corrosion. Regularly checking the condition of the internal profile allows wear to be detected early and the tool to be replaced before the fasteners are damaged.
