Hex socket with a 1/2" drive, made from CRV chrome vanadium steel. Designed for fitting and removing 15 mm hex bolts and nuts using ratchets, speed braces or torque wrenches with a 1/2" drive.
Alloy tool steel containing chromium and vanadium, characterised by greater hardness and wear resistance than ordinary carbon steel. It delivers a longer socket service life under intensive use.
The hardening and tempering process increases the hardness of the working surface while maintaining a tough core. It minimises the risk of cracking and deformation when working with high torque.
Classic geometry with six points of contact with the nut. Spreading the force over a larger area reduces the risk of damaging the edges of the fastener. Compatible with standard metric bolts and nuts.
The matt chrome surface protects against corrosion and makes the socket easy to keep clean. Chrome plating increases surface hardness and wear resistance during frequent use.

The socket works with all tools fitted with a 1/2" square drive: ratchets, speed braces, torque wrenches, pneumatic and electric impact wrenches, extensions and universal joints. Before use, make sure the socket size matches the size of the nut or bolt.
Before starting work, check that the socket is properly seated on the tool drive and shows no signs of mechanical damage. When tightening, use the correct torque in accordance with the fastener manufacturer's requirements.
After use, clean the socket of any contamination, dry it and protect it with a thin film of maintenance oil. Storing it in a dry place, ideally in an organiser or tool box, prevents corrosion and helps keep your tool set organised.
