Professional impact bit socket with a TORX T40 tip, made from chrome molybdenum CR-MO steel. Designed for intensive work with impact wrenches in workshop and industrial conditions where resistance to high torque and shock loads is required.
A premium material with increased impact resistance. Greater flexibility than CR-V steel allows it to absorb vibration and extreme loads without cracking, which is crucial when working with pneumatic and electric impact wrenches.
Reinforced walls and special heat treatment maintain hardness under impact loads. The socket does not deform even when the rated torque is repeatedly exceeded.
The six-point star profile spreads force over a larger contact area with the screw. It minimises the risk of slipping and damaging the screw head, particularly with worn or clogged fasteners.
A protective surface layer increases durability in environments with high humidity and contact with chemicals, typical of a car workshop.

CR-MO steel (chrome molybdenum) offers higher impact resistance and better flexibility than CR-V steel (chrome vanadium). Molybdenum increases fatigue strength and allows the material to absorb impact energy without micro-cracking. CR-V steel is suitable for hand tools, whereas CR-MO is the standard for impact applications – where the tool is used with pneumatic or electric impact wrenches.
Before use, check that the TORX size matches the marking on the screw – using the wrong size will damage the recess. Make sure the bit is fully seated in the screw before starting the impact wrench.
After use, clean the socket of dirt and oil. Store in a dry place, preferably in a tool organiser. Check the condition of the TORX profile regularly – worn edges can damage screws and reduce torque transfer.
Do not use the socket as an extension or a hammer. When working with an impact wrench, use suitable impact extensions – standard ones may crack under vibration.
