A 12-point socket made from chrome vanadium CrV 50BV30 steel with a 1/2 inch drive and a 10mm socket size. Designed for mechanical work using a torque wrench or ratchet.
An alloy with increased hardness and wear resistance. The addition of chromium provides corrosion resistance, while vanadium increases the mechanical strength and elasticity of the material. The 50BV30 designation indicates a precisely balanced alloy composition.
Twelve points of contact with the nut allow the socket to be positioned every 30 degrees, which makes working in confined spaces easier. The larger contact area compared with a six-point profile reduces the risk of damaging the edges of the fastener.
The 1/2" (12.7mm) standard is the most common drive size in mechanical workshops. It strikes a balance between torque and tool dimensions. Compatible with 1/2" ratchets, torque wrenches and extensions.
The drop forging process produces a uniform material structure free from voids and micro-cracks. Precise dimensional calibration guarantees fit tolerances in accordance with DIN 3124 and ISO 2725, which eliminates play when mating with a nut.

The 1/2" socket works with torque wrenches within the torque range typical of M6-M8 connections. Before use, check the recommended tightening torque for the specific application in accordance with the technical documentation of the equipment or structure manufacturer.
Before first use, check the condition of the socket's working surfaces - they should be free from burrs and any signs of corrosion. During use, fit the socket perpendicular to the axis of the nut to avoid misalignment and damage to the profile.
After use, clean the socket of contaminants and protect it with a thin layer of anti-corrosion oil. Storing it in a dry place, ideally in a tool organiser, prevents mechanical damage and surface oxidation.
Do not use the socket as a lever extension or subject it to hammer blows. Exceeding the permissible torque can lead to permanent deformation of the working profile or cracking of the material.
