Workshop socket made from chrome vanadium steel with a 1/2" drive and a 12-point profile. Designed for professional torque wrenches and ratchets in 15 mm size.
A steel alloy with increased mechanical strength and wear resistance. The addition of vanadium improves the hardness and flexibility of the material, which reduces the risk of cracking under high torsional loads.
The twelve-sided internal shape of the socket provides six points of contact with the nut instead of four. It allows work in confined spaces with a smaller turning angle (30° instead of 60°), which matters on hard-to-reach fasteners.
The hardening and tempering process increases surface hardness while maintaining a ductile core. It extends the life of the socket and reduces susceptibility to deformation during intensive use.
The chrome layer protects against corrosion and makes cleaning easier. The matt finish reduces light glare during work, which improves comfort in workshop conditions.

The 1/2" drive fits standard ratchets, torque wrenches, extension bars and universal joints of the same size. Before use, check that the torque range of the tool matches the requirements of the bolted joint.
Push the socket onto the tool's drive until the retaining ball engages. During use, make sure the socket is fully seated on the nut to avoid damaging the edges. After use, clean off any contamination and protect with a thin layer of maintenance oil.
Do not use the socket as a lever extension or as a hammer. Avoid overloads exceeding the strength limits of the material. If the internal edges show noticeable wear, replace the socket to prevent damage to fasteners.
