120-litre bags for sorting metal waste, made from 0.040 mm film. The product is designed for collecting ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal in waste sorting systems, in accordance with applicable standards.
Features of the metal waste bags
0.040 mm film thickness
A parameter that determines the mechanical strength of the bag. 0.040 mm film resists puncturing by sharp metal edges and tearing during transport. This thickness is a compromise between the strength and the flexibility of the material.
120-litre capacity
Dimensions of 110 cm in height and 70 cm in width give an actual capacity of 120 litres, which matches standard recycling bins. This capacity allows around 15–20 kg of metal waste to be collected before the bag needs replacing.
Red colour in the recycling system
The red colour of the bag, in accordance with the PN-EN 13592 standard, denotes metal waste. The clear colour coding eliminates sorting errors and makes it easier for collection services and recycling centres to identify the contents.
Reinforced welded seam

Use and practical tips
How to choose the right film thickness
A thickness of 0.040 mm works well for metal waste of average weight. If heavy items are being collected (e.g. large pieces of sheet metal, steel rods), bags with a greater thickness (0.050–0.060 mm) are worth considering. For lightweight metal packaging (cans, aluminium foil), the standard 0.040 mm thickness is sufficient.
Capacity versus waste weight
A 120-litre bag will hold around 15–20 kg of metal waste, depending on its type. Being lightweight, aluminium cans will fill the bag by volume before the strength limit is reached. Heavier ferrous scrap may exceed the load capacity of the film before the bag is completely full.
Storing the bags
Unused bags should be stored in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Polyethylene film loses its flexibility and becomes brittle under the influence of UV radiation. The storage temperature should not exceed 40°C.
