A male fitting designed for quick connection of air hoses with a 13 mm bore. A component used in compressed air systems in workshops, industry and mobile applications.
The fitting is designed for air hoses with a 13 mm bore. Before purchase, measure the internal diameter of the hose, not the external diameter. The fitting must not be used with hoses of other diameters, as this risks leaks or may make fitting impossible.
The male fitting is pushed onto the end of the hose and mates with the sockets of pneumatic quick-release couplings. To fit it, push the hose over the barbed tail of the fitting and secure it with hose clips. The male type is used on the tool or receiving equipment side.
The fitting body is made from corrosion-resistant metal, which ensures durability in workshop and industrial conditions. The material withstands the working pressures typical of pneumatic systems and is resistant to mechanical damage in use.
The blister pack protects the fitting against damage during transport and storage. The blister allows the product to be displayed without opening the packaging and makes it easy to hang on display hooks at points of sale.

The male fitting is fitted by pushing the air hose over the tail of the fitting to a depth of approximately 3–4 cm. Secure the connection with two metal or plastic hose clips, spaced evenly along the inserted length. Before fitting, check that the inside of the hose is clean and free from damage.
The male fitting mates with pneumatic quick-release coupling sockets of the appropriate size. Make sure the socket is compatible with the profile of the fitting. Euro, Orion and ARO systems are commonly used – before purchase, it is worth checking which standard is used in your system.
The 13 mm diameter refers to the internal diameter of the hose, not the external diameter. Measure with a vernier caliper or a ruler, measuring the internal space of the hose. Typical hoses with a 13 mm bore have an external diameter of approximately 19–20 mm, depending on wall thickness.
