Torx Socket Set 1/4" 56-Piece GEKO G10153
A complete tool set with a 1/4" ratchet, 6-point sockets, E-Torx sockets and bits in four profiles. Made from CrV chrome vanadium steel and supplied in a carry case.
Set features
45-tooth ratchet
The 45-tooth mechanism gives an 8-degree ratchet arc, which allows work in confined spaces. The ergonomic handle improves grip and reduces hand fatigue during longer assembly jobs.
CrV chrome vanadium steel
The chromium-vanadium alloy offers greater hardness and wear resistance than standard carbon steel. The chrome plating protects against corrosion and extends tool life.
Extension bars and adaptors
Two rigid extension bars (75 and 150 mm) and a flexible extension (140 mm) provide access to hard-to-reach fastenings. The universal joint allows work at angles of up to 90 degrees.
Carry case
High-strength plastic protects the tools from mechanical damage. Moulded recesses hold every item in place, making it easy to check that the set is complete.

Short 6-point sockets (50 mm)
12 pieces in sizes: 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 mm. Short sockets provide greater stability when undoing tightly tightened fastenings.
Long 6-point sockets (20 mm)
8 pieces in sizes: 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 mm. Long sockets allow work on screw heads and nuts set in recesses.
E-Torx sockets
6 pieces in sizes: E4, E5, E7 (2 pcs), E8, E10. The E-Torx (external) profile is used in electronics, household appliances and the automotive industry.
1/4" bits
25 bits in four profiles: HEX (H3-H8), Torx (T8-T40), Pozidriv (PZ1-PZ3), Phillips (PH1-PH3), slotted (SL4, SL5.5, SL6.5). The bits work with the spinner handle or the adaptor.
Difference between long and short sockets
Short sockets (50 mm) offer greater rigidity and torque transfer and are used on standard fastenings. Long sockets (20 mm) provide access to screws and nuts set deeper, for example in mounting holes or flange recesses.
Compatibility with other tools
All items in the set have a standard 1/4" (6.35 mm) drive to ISO 1174-1. They can be combined with other tools of the same size – ratchets, torque wrenches or impact drivers with an adaptor.
Use and maintenance
Selecting the correct socket
Before use, check that the socket or bit fits the screw head or nut fully. Any play can damage the corners of the fastening and make it harder to remove later. Use 6-point sockets for metric fastenings and the appropriate profiles (Torx, E-Torx, HEX) for specialist screws.
Working with the ratchet
The direction lever is normally located at the back of the head. Before starting work, set the direction to match the operation planned (tightening/loosening). The ratchet is not designed for impact use – striking it with a hammer may damage the ratchet mechanism.
Tool maintenance
Clean dirt from the sockets and bits after use. The ratchet mechanism requires periodic lubrication with a suitable grease – every 6-12 months of intensive use. Store the tools in a dry place, in the original case.
