16L Battery-Powered Backpack Sprayer GEKO G73215
A backpack sprayer with electric drive, designed for plant protection over medium and larger areas. The 12V 8Ah battery provides 4-4.5 hours of continuous operation, eliminating the need for manual pumping.
Features
12V 8Ah Battery Power
The lead-acid battery maintains constant pressure for 4-4.5 hours without interruption. It eliminates the physical effort of manual pumping. A charging time of 10-12 hours means the equipment can be ready for use overnight.
Adjustable Pressure 0.10-0.45 MPa
The pressure range corresponds to 1-4.5 bar. Lower values (0.10-0.20 MPa) are used for delicate ornamental plants, higher values (0.30-0.45 MPa) for spraying trees and shrubs. Adjustment affects droplet size and spray range.
Set of 4 Spray Nozzles
Different nozzles allow the spray pattern to be matched to the type of work: fan nozzles for flat surfaces, cone nozzles for shrubs, and a jet for targeted application. The sprayer can be operated with one or two nozzles at a time (flow rate 1.5-3.0 L/min).
Telescopic Lance 490-880 mm
Stainless steel lance with adjustable length. A shorter reach makes it easier to manoeuvre in dense crops, while a longer reach allows taller trees to be sprayed without a ladder. Corrosion resistance ensures durability on contact with chemicals.

Use and Maintenance
Preparation for Use
Before first use, charge the battery for 10-12 hours. Fill the tank through the filler filter, which traps contaminants that could block the nozzles. Do not exceed the 16-litre capacity. Check that the connections between the hose, lance and tank are leak-tight.
Operating Time and Flow Rate
With a fully charged 8Ah battery, the unit runs for 4-4.5 hours. A flow rate of 1.5-3.0 L/min means that a full 16L tank is enough for 5-10 minutes of continuous spraying (depending on the number of nozzles in use). For comparison, a manual sprayer requires pumping every few dozen seconds and achieves four times lower output.
Cleaning After Use
After each use, rinse the tank with clean water. Run water through the hose and lance to remove chemical residues. Clean the filler filter. Store in a dry place with the battery disconnected. Do not leave liquid in the tank for longer than 24 hours.
Battery Maintenance
The 12V 8Ah lead-acid battery requires regular charging even when the unit is not in use (every 2-3 months). Avoid completely discharging it, as this shortens cell life. The DC 12V 1.2A charger supplied is matched to the battery's parameters. Do not use chargers with a higher current rating.
