180 mm side cutters made from chrome vanadium (CrV) steel. A tool designed for precision cutting of wire, electrical cable and metal components in the workshop and during installation work.
A material with greater hardness and wear resistance than ordinary tool steel. The chromium and vanadium alloy gives the blades a longer service life and resistance to deformation when cutting harder materials.
A size that balances cutting force against precision. Cutters of this length allow comfortable one-handed operation while retaining sufficient leverage to cut wire up to 2-3 mm in diameter.
The blades are set at an angle to the axis of the tool, which allows cutting in hard-to-reach places, close to mounting surfaces. A type of cutter used in electronics and electrical engineering for trimming component leads.
A finish that provides a stable grip during work. The handles are shaped to the anatomy of the hand, which reduces fatigue during repeated use and prevents the tool from slipping.

During work, hold the cutters perpendicular to the material being cut. Do not use the tool to cut materials harder than those specified – this may damage the blades or chip them. When cutting live cable, cutters with insulation certified for working at voltage are required.
After finishing work, clean the cutters of any contamination and protect them with a thin layer of tool oil. Lubricate the joint periodically to ensure smooth movement. Store the tool in a dry place, which prevents corrosion of the steel components.
Before each use, check the condition of the blades – they should not be chipped or blunt. Play in the joint should be minimal. If noticeable blade wear is found, replacing the tool is recommended, as sharpening side cutters in domestic conditions rarely restores the original cutting quality.
