2-in-1 1800W Kraft&Dele KD545-Z Bench Grinder & Belt Sander
The KD545-Z is a stationary grinding machine fitted with both a 150 mm grinding wheel and a 686 x 50 mm sanding belt. Dry operation allows metal parts and cutting tools to be ground, sharpened and cleaned without having to switch machines between operations.
Key features
2-in-1 setup — wheel and belt
Mounting the grinding wheel on one side of the spindle and the sanding belt on the other lets you carry out different operations without changing tools. The wheel (36 grit) is suited to aggressive material removal, while the belt (80 grit) handles smoothing and surface finishing.
Aluminium guards and eye shield
The wheel guards are made from aluminium alloy, which withstands spark impact and mechanical deformation. The kit includes a transparent safety guard that traps sparks while still letting you watch the workpiece during operation.
Bench mounting
Mounting holes in the base let you bolt the grinder to a workbench or worktop. A machine that is properly secured eliminates the vibration transmitted to the workpiece and improves the repeatability of tool sharpening angles.
Weight and dimensions

Choosing the right grit — a practical tip
The 36 grit wheel is used for rapid removal of larger amounts of material — for example, shaping the cutting edge of a badly blunted tool. The 80 grit belt is for finishing surfaces and smoothing edges after initial grinding. Where a finer surface finish is required, the belt has to be replaced with one of a higher grit rating (available separately).
