Impact wrench with a brushless motor and 1/2-inch drive, designed for demanding assembly, workshop and construction work requiring high tightening torque.
Technical features of the impact wrench
Brushless motor
BLDC technology eliminates the mechanical friction of carbon brushes, which translates into around 30% higher energy efficiency, longer runtime per charge and extended tool life. It also generates less heat during continuous operation.
250 Nm torque
The parameter that defines maximum tightening force. 250 Nm is enough for work with M12-M16 bolts, steel structure assembly, changing wheels on passenger cars and tightening joints that require high clamping force.
Tangential impact mechanism
A system that generates a series of short, sharp rotational impulses. It allows seized, corroded or over-tightened bolted joints to be loosened without the operator having to apply heavy pressure.
Torque control
Three-stage control lets you match the tightening force to the material type and the diameter of the fastener. It prevents thread damage in soft materials and under-tightening of joints critical to structural safety.

Compatibility with the YATO 18V system
The wrench works with all batteries from the YATO 18V series. A single battery can power drills, grinders, saws, torches and other tools from this manufacturer, which reduces running costs and the number of chargers needed in the workshop.
Use and maintenance
Before starting work, check the battery charge level and that the socket is seated securely on the square drive. When tightening joints critical to safety, the torque should be verified with a torque wrench.
The 1/2-inch drive requires black-coded impact sockets. Chrome sockets intended for hand tools may crack under the impulses generated by the impact mechanism.
After finishing work, remove dirt from the ventilation openings with compressed air. For longer periods out of use, store the battery at 10-25°C with a charge level of 40-60%.
Checking tightening torque
In applications requiring tightening to the manufacturer's specification (e.g. cylinder head bolts, suspension components), the impact wrench is used for initial assembly. Final tightening is carried out with a torque wrench set to the required torque.
