YATO YT-85930 18V Cordless Pressure Washer with Self-Priming Function
A cordless pressure washer powered by an 18V lithium-ion battery that can draw water from any source. A solution that removes the need for mains power and a plumbing supply, designed for cleaning surfaces in locations with no infrastructure.
Technical characteristics of the cordless pressure washer
18V battery power
The 18V lithium-ion system provides independence from mains power. A 4 Ah battery delivers 30 minutes of continuous operation, enough to wash a car or clean a patio of around 20-25 m². Compatibility with the YATO 18V tool platform means batteries can be swapped with other tools in the range.
Self-priming water function
The integrated suction pump draws water from any container - a bucket, barrel, rainwater tank or natural source. The 6-metre suction hose is fitted with a pre-filter that protects the pump from mechanical contaminants larger than 1 mm in diameter. This removes the dependency on an outdoor tap or mains water supply.
Standard equipment
The kit includes an adjustable spray nozzle for changing the spray pattern from a concentrated jet to a wide mist, plus a foam bottle for applying cleaning agents. The bayonet fitting allows accessories to be changed quickly without tools. The mounting system is Quick Connect compatible.
Electronic protection
A four-stage LED indicator shows the current battery charge level. The BMS (Battery Management System) monitors cell temperature and automatically cuts the power if safe operating parameters are exceeded, extending battery life to around 500 charging cycles.

Compatibility with the YATO 18V system
The pressure washer works with all batteries in the YATO 18V range from 2.0 Ah to 6.0 Ah. Runtime is proportional to capacity - a 2 Ah battery gives around 15 minutes of operation and a 6 Ah battery around 45 minutes. Batteries and chargers must be purchased separately or taken from other tools on this platform.
Use and maintenance
Before first use, fully charge the battery in accordance with the charger instructions. Place the suction hose in a water container, making sure the filter is submerged below the water level. Once the unit is switched on, the pump starts drawing water automatically.
The spray pattern is adjusted by turning the tip of the nozzle - from a narrow, concentrated jet to a wide mist. Use the wide setting for delicate surfaces and the concentrated jet for removing stubborn dirt. The foam lance fits in place of the standard nozzle and is filled with diluted cleaning fluid.
After use, release the pressure by running the unit briefly with no water source connected. The suction hose should be flushed with clean water, particularly after using chemicals. Check the pre-filter regularly and clean off any built-up debris. For longer periods out of use, store the battery at 10-25°C with a charge level of around 40-60%.
Water sources for suction
The unit draws water from open containers - buckets, tanks, rainwater barrels or natural sources. No inlet pressure is required. The maximum suction lift is around 1-1.5 metres vertically. Filtered or clear water is recommended - contaminants below 1 mm can pass through the filter and shorten pump life.
