The KD1160 is a portable electric pump powered by 24V and designed for transferring engine oil, diesel and paraffin. It can be powered directly from a vehicle battery, making it suitable for both workshop and field use — with no need for a mains supply.
The pump runs on 24V, the standard for the electrical systems of lorries, buses and plant machinery. Connecting it directly to a battery removes the need for a 230V mains supply — the unit can be used in the field, on a building site or at the scene of a vehicle breakdown.
Cast iron resists abrasion and the effects of mineral and diesel oils. The copper motor winding offers good electrical conductivity and resistance to the heat generated during operation, which translates into a long service life with regular use.
The built-in valve allows the flow of liquid to be stopped in a controlled way without switching off the power. The external filter traps mechanical contaminants present in the pumped medium, protecting the pump's internal components from premature wear.
Its compact dimensions and low weight make the unit easy to carry and store without permanent installation. The pump can be connected and disconnected quickly as required, which is important when servicing several vehicles or machines.

The KD1160 pump is not designed to pump petrol or other flammable liquids with a low flash point. Using it with petrol can damage the unit and creates a fire risk. Before connecting it, make sure that the vehicle's system voltage is 24V — using it at 12V or a higher voltage may damage the pump motor.
