3-Tier Composite Workshop Trolley VOREL 81863
A mobile workshop trolley with three PP shelves, designed for transporting tools and materials in workshops, warehouses and production facilities. The composite construction resists corrosion and chemicals while keeping the trolley lightweight.
Technical features of the workshop trolley
Polypropylene (PP) construction
PP is resistant to impact, workshop chemicals (oils, greases, solvents) and moisture. Unlike metal trolleys it does not rust and needs no additional anti-corrosion protection, which extends its service life in high-humidity environments.
120 kg load capacity at a net weight of 8.2 kg
The load-to-weight ratio (approximately 14.6:1) makes the trolley easy to manoeuvre even when fully loaded. Weighing under 10 kg, it can be moved by one person without undue effort, which improves working efficiency.
3 mm thick shelves with 20 mm raised edges
The 3 mm thickness gives the structure rigidity and ensures even load distribution. The 20 mm raised edges stop items sliding off during transport, particularly when carrying small tools, screws or assembly components.
Four 75 mm castors
The 75 mm diameter allows the trolley to roll over thresholds of up to 15-20 mm and across uneven workshop floors. Larger castors reduce rolling resistance and prevent the trolley from getting stuck on small obstacles on the floor.

Use and maintenance
Load distribution
The maximum 120 kg load should be distributed evenly across all three shelves. Placing the entire weight on a single shelf may deform the structure. For stability during transport, heavier items should be stored on the lower levels.
Cleaning the composite construction
Polypropylene can be cleaned with water and industrial detergents. The material resists most organic solvents and oils, but prolonged contact with acetone and concentrated acids should be avoided. After exposure to chemicals, simply wipe the surface with a damp cloth.
Maintaining the castor assembly
The castors should be checked periodically for tread wear and free rotation. Dirt and metal swarf can jam the swivel mechanisms – removing debris regularly prevents premature wear. If rolling resistance increases, check the castor axles and clean them if necessary.
