A professional deep impact socket with an extended design, intended for use with pneumatic and electric tools. Made from CR-MO chrome molybdenum steel, it offers durability in industrial and workshop conditions.
Technical features
Extended design
The extended length provides access to bolts and nuts recessed deep within mounting recesses, as commonly found in HGV mechanics and steel structures. This design removes the need for extension bars in areas with limited space.
CR-MO chrome molybdenum steel
A material whose structure provides flexibility while retaining hardness. The addition of molybdenum increases resistance to cyclic impact loads, which prevents cracking and deformation when working with high-torque impact wrenches.
6-point profile
The internal hexagon distributes force across a larger area of the fastener, reducing the risk of rounding the edges of the bolt or nut. The design provides a secure fit and minimises play during use.
3/4" drive
A standard used in high-torque tools, typical of HGV workshops and industry. The 19.05 mm size ensures compatibility with impact wrenches of 600 Nm and above.

Differences between CR-MO and CR-V steel
The choice of socket material has a direct effect on durability and range of applications. CR-MO steel (chrome molybdenum) differs from CR-V steel (chrome vanadium) in its mechanical properties:
CR-MO steel (chrome molybdenum)
The addition of molybdenum (0.15-0.30%) increases the ductility of the material, allowing it to absorb impact energy without forming micro-cracks. The crystal structure retains flexibility at a hardness of 38-42 HRC. Intended use: pneumatic and electric impact wrenches, industrial applications.
CR-V steel (chrome vanadium)
The addition of vanadium (0.15-0.20%) increases hardness and wear resistance but reduces flexibility. The material reaches a hardness of 48-52 HRC, which under impact loads can lead to cracking. Intended use: hand tools, ratchets, sockets for non-industrial use.

Impact sockets must be used with tools of an appropriately matched torque. Before starting work, check the following:
Tool compatibility
The 3/4" drive works with impact wrenches of 600 Nm and above. Using a tool with excessively high torque (above 2000 Nm) may deform the drive. Check the wrench specification before fitting the socket.
Maintenance
