A 3/4-inch drive socket set comprising 14 working pieces – sockets, a ratchet, a T-bar and extension bars. Made from tool steel, it is designed for jobs requiring higher torque in mechanical workshops and vehicle servicing.
The 3/4" (19 mm) square drive transmits considerably higher torque than the common 1/2" sets. It is used for undoing seized or over-tightened bolts on HGVs, construction machinery and industrial plant.
The set contains 10 six-point sockets in sizes 22, 24, 27, 30, 32, 36, 38, 41, 46 and 50 mm. It covers the typical bolt and nut sizes used in commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery and industrial installations.
The 495 mm length provides ample leverage while keeping the tool under control. The ratchet mechanism allows work in confined spaces without having to remove the socket after each turn. A direction switch makes tightening and loosening easier.
Two extension bars, 100 and 200 mm long, allow work in deep recesses and hard-to-reach places, for example on suspension bolts or chassis components. The T-bar (456 mm) provides extra pressure when tightening by hand.

A 3/4" drive is used on bolts requiring torque above 300 Nm. For typical car work (passenger cars), a 1/2" drive is sufficient. A 3/4" drive is mainly found in commercial vehicle workshops, industrial workshops and on machinery requiring high tightening forces.
Before starting work, check that the socket is correctly seated on the drive square – any play can damage the ratchet mechanism. After use, clean the sockets of dirt and grease residues, particularly after working outdoors.
The ratchet mechanism needs periodic lubrication with light tool oils. Avoid overloading the tools by extending the handle for extra leverage – this can damage the pawl mechanism. Storing the set in the case protects the components from moisture and mechanical damage during transport.
