A hex key with an ergonomic handle, made from CrV 6150 chrome vanadium steel. The tool is designed for tightening and loosening hex socket head (Allen) screws measuring 5.0 mm.
An alloy with increased hardness and mechanical strength. The chromium and vanadium content improves resistance to abrasion and prevents deformation of the shaft under load. This material is used in professional tools.
A thermochemical treatment that forms a protective layer on the steel surface. It protects the key against atmospheric corrosion and oxidation, extending the life of the tool in a workshop environment.
A polypropylene (PP) body covered with a soft thermoplastic elastomer (TPR). The design ensures a secure grip even with wet hands and reduces fatigue during prolonged work. Non-slip inserts increase torque.
An additional arm of the key increases leverage when loosening seized or corroded threaded connections. A useful function when working with components exposed to moisture and chemicals.

The hex key size must match the dimension of the hex socket in the screw. The 5.0 mm dimension denotes the distance between the parallel faces of the hex profile. Before use, make sure the key enters the socket without play – play can damage the edges of the screw and prevent it from being loosened.
Before starting work, check the condition of the key shaft – there should be no signs of wear or deformation. Insert the key into the screw socket to the full depth of the profile, which prevents damage to the edges. When tightening, apply force evenly across the handle, without jerking.
After finishing work, clean the key of any dirt and protect it from moisture. Periodically applying a thin layer of protective oil to the shaft extends the life of the tool. Storing it in a dry place prevents corrosion of the black oxide surfaces.
Do not use the key as a lever or a hammer. Extending the key arm with pipes or other tools may damage the shaft or the screw. For seized connections, use penetrating oil and wait several minutes before attempting to loosen them again.
