A 41 mm hex socket with 3/4" drive for use with torque wrenches and industrial ratchets. Made from chrome vanadium steel with heat treatment that increases resistance to wear.
A steel alloy with increased mechanical strength and abrasion resistance. Its chrome vanadium structure provides flexibility alongside surface hardness, which reduces the risk of cracking under heavy load.
The hardening and tempering process increases the hardness of the socket's surface layer, extending its service life under intensive use. It prevents deformation of the working edges when tackling heavily tightened joints.
A chrome layer a few micrometres thick protects the steel against corrosion and makes it easier to keep clean. The polished surface reduces friction when fitting the socket onto a nut and removing it.
Six flat working surfaces spread the force over a larger area of the nut than a 12-point profile, reducing the risk of rounding the edges of the fastener. It performs well when loosening heavily corroded or seized joints.

The 3/4" (19.05 mm) drive works with ratchets, torque wrenches and extensions of the same square drive size. This size is used in professional tools for high torque applications, typically from 100 to 600 Nm. Check the drive size of your tool before buying.
Before use, check that the socket profile matches the size of the nut – play exceeding 0.5 mm can damage the edges of the fastener. Fit the socket onto the nut fully, avoiding working at an angle, which increases the risk of slipping.
After working in a damp environment or after contact with chemicals, clean and dry the socket. The chrome plated surface does not require additional lubrication, but it is worth checking the condition of the drive square periodically – worn edges can cause play on the tool's drive.
Do not use the socket as a lever extension or strike it with a hammer – this can cause microcracks in the material. If there are visible signs of deformation or chipping of the working edges, withdraw the socket from use.
