An impact socket with a 1" drive for working with nuts and bolts of 80 mm spanner size. Made from heat-treated chrome vanadium steel, intended for use with pneumatic and electric impact wrenches in the workshop and in industry.
The standard 1" square drive allows the socket to be fitted to impact wrenches, whether pneumatic or electric, with a matching drive square. This size is used in professional workshop and industrial tools, providing a secure connection and efficient torque transfer.
Chrome vanadium steel is characterised by increased resistance to impact and torsional loads. The vanadium content raises hardness and wear resistance, which translates into a longer tool life under intensive use.
The hardening and tempering process, carried out at a controlled temperature, improves the crystalline structure of the steel. This increases resistance to cracking, plastic deformation and mechanical wear, particularly when working with nuts and bolts requiring high tightening torques.
The internal six-point profile distributes force evenly across all edges of the nut, minimising the risk of rounding the corners. This design allows higher torques to be transmitted than 12-point profiles, which is important when loosening seized fasteners.

The socket requires a tool with a 1" square drive. Before purchasing, check that your impact wrench, whether pneumatic or electric, has the correct drive square size. A 1" drive is the standard for professional workshop and industrial tools.
Before first use, check that the socket is correctly seated on the drive square of the tool. During use, make sure the socket fully covers the nut or bolt – an incomplete fit can damage the corners of the fastener.
After use, clean the socket of any contamination and protect it with a thin layer of oil or grease, which prevents corrosion and ensures smooth seating on the tool. Chrome-plated sockets do not require intensive maintenance, but regular cleaning extends their service life.
Do not use the socket as an extension bar or a hammer – the tool is designed solely for transmitting torque. Mechanical damage resulting from improper use may lead to cracks or deformation.
