60L Rectangular Mortar Tub VOREL 06395
A 60-litre construction container made from durable plastic. Its rectangular shape makes efficient use of space when transporting loose materials, rubble and tools around the building site.
Mortar tub features
60-litre capacity
Enough to carry a single batch of bricklaying or plastering mortar, around 80-90 kg of loose material. Ideal for one person to carry without excessive strain.
Impact-resistant plastic
The material stays flexible at temperatures from -20°C to +50°C, which prevents cracking on impact or on contact with the sharp edges of building materials. Resistant to moisture and most construction chemicals.
Rectangular construction
The rectangular shape allows the tub to stand stably on the ground and makes it easy to stack several containers on top of one another. The flat walls prevent it from tipping while it is being filled.
Ergonomic handles
Reinforced handles on the longer sides let two people carry the tub, or a single person move smaller quantities of material. The handle profile is designed to be gripped while wearing work gloves.

Use and maintenance
Safe use guidelines
When carrying heavy materials, wear work gloves to protect against abrasion. Do not exceed the maximum capacity of 60 litres, as this can damage the handles. The tub is intended for materials at room temperature – do not pour in hot building compounds.
Clean the container immediately after finishing work, especially after contact with cement mortar. Once set, mortar is harder to remove and may damage the plastic surface. Water and a stiff-bristled brush are all you need for cleaning.
Storing the tub away from direct sunlight extends the life of the plastic. When storing empty containers, they can be nested inside one another, which saves storage space.
Typical working loads
A 60-litre capacity corresponds to around 80-90 kg of bricklaying mortar or 70-80 kg of wet sand. For safe carrying by a single person, fill to two-thirds capacity. Moving a full tub requires two people.
