A 7 mm wood drill bit with a 1/4" HEX hexagonal shank, made from HSS 4241 high-speed steel. A tool designed for drilling holes in softwood, hardwood and wood-based materials.
Wood drill bit features
HSS 4241 steel
HSS 4241 high-speed steel contains molybdenum and vanadium additives, which increase hardness and wear resistance. The bit stays sharp even under intensive use, which translates into a longer tool service life.
1/4" HEX shank
The 6.3 mm hexagonal shank ensures a secure fit in the bit holders of cordless drill drivers and impact drivers. This eliminates bit slippage during work, improving both safety and drilling precision.
Spiral flute geometry
The spiral flutes clear chips from the hole effectively while drilling. This prevents the bit from clogging and overheating, which is particularly important when drilling deep holes in hardwood.
Ground centring point
