A professional Torx key set made from S2 alloy steel with a non-slip coating. The set contains the seven most popular sizes from T9 to T30, providing a comprehensive solution for servicing and assembly work.
S2 steel is characterised by increased hardness and resistance to twisting. Compared with standard tool steel, it provides greater strength when working with over-tightened or seized screws. This steel is used in professional tools intended for intensive use.
The Torx system uses a six-point star profile that distributes torque over a larger contact area than standard screws. This minimises the risk of stripping the screw recess and allows greater tightening force. The profile is widely used in electronics, automotive and domestic appliances.
A special coating on the key shaft increases friction between the hand and the tool. This prevents the key from slipping during work in difficult conditions, such as contact with oil or moisture. The coating improves control over the tool and reduces hand fatigue during prolonged use.
The set includes the seven most popular Torx sizes (T9, T10, T15, T20, T25, T27, T30), which cover around 90% of applications in typical workshop and DIY work. This eliminates the need to buy individual keys and ensures readiness for most servicing tasks.

Before starting work, check the marking on the screw - the number after the letter T (e.g. T20) indicates the key size. The key should fit into the screw recess without play and without needing to be forced. An incorrectly chosen size can damage the screw profile and make it impossible to remove.
Torx keys should be stored in a dry place, protected from moisture. After working in an environment containing oils or chemicals, it is advisable to wipe the keys with a dry cloth. The keys should not be used as levers or have their arm extended with an additional tool - this can cause permanent deformation.
During use, the key should be inserted to the full depth of the screw recess. Work should be carried out with a steady motion, without jerking. For seized screws, penetrating oil can be used, and a few minutes should be allowed before trying again to remove them.
The Torx Plus standard (marked IP instead of T) has a modified profile with thinner star points. Standard Torx keys are not fully compatible with Torx Plus screws and vice versa. Before buying, check which type of screws are used in the equipment being serviced.
