An electric glue gun designed for bonding a wide range of materials by hot melt adhesion. The tool runs on a 230V mains supply and takes 11.2 mm glue sticks.
The 80W heating element melts glue quickly and shortens the wait before the tool is ready for use. Higher output also means better performance during longer gluing sessions where glue is applied continuously.
The temperature range is matched to standard hot melt glue sticks. Temperatures within this range keep the glue at a smooth consistency and produce durable bonds while remaining safe for most materials.
Once plugged into the mains, the gun reaches its operating temperature within 6 minutes. By then the glue is fully melted and ready to apply. Do not push the glue stick in before the full temperature has been reached.
The 11.2 mm diameter is a common standard for medium-output glue guns. Sticks in this size are widely available in a range of colours and variants (clear, coloured, glitter). Use only sticks of this diameter.
| Model | GEKO G20100 |
| Power supply | 230V ~ 50Hz |
| Rated output | 80 W |
| Operating temperature | 240-280°C |
| Heat-up time | 6 min |
| Glue stick diameter | 11.2 mm |
| Housing material | Plastic |
| Supplied with | Glue gun + 2 glue sticks |
Do not use on materials that cannot withstand temperatures above 280°C, such as: polystyrene foam, certain thermoplastics with a low melting point, and thin films. Hot melt adhesive is not suitable for joining components exposed to high mechanical loads or prolonged moisture.
Before first use, insert a glue stick into the chamber and plug the gun into the mains. After 6 minutes the tool is ready for use. Apply glue by squeezing the trigger – do not force the glue stick in while the gun is not heated.
While working, rest the gun on its built-in stand or a dedicated holder. The nozzle reaches a high temperature – avoid contact with the skin. When you have finished, unplug the tool from the mains and leave it to cool in a horizontal position.
Maintenance is limited to removing excess glue from the nozzle once the tool has cooled. Do not pull the glue stick out of the gun – each new stick pushes out the remains of the previous one. Store in a dry place, away from sources of heat.
