Professional abrasive cloth on a cloth backing with aluminium oxide grain. The roll, 200 mm wide and 30 metres long, is intended for intensive sanding of wood, metals and selected plastics.
A P36 grit designation refers to grain approximately 538 micrometres in diameter. It is used for removing major unevenness, stripping old coatings, initially levelling surfaces and removing material quickly ahead of finishing work.
The woven cloth backing resists tearing and stays flexible during use. It conforms to irregular surfaces and can be cut to any length without the edges fraying.
Aluminium oxide grains are hard, have sharp edges and resist high temperatures. This material delivers even sanding, a long abrasive life and consistent performance when working different materials.
The 200 mm width matches standard belt sanders and allows larger surfaces to be worked. The 30 metre length allows repeated cutting into shorter sections or the preparation of long belts for intensive work.

To prepare a belt from the roll, measure the belt circumference on your sander or check the machine's technical data. Cut the required length from the roll, leaving 2-3 cm of allowance. The ends can be joined with a purpose-made abrasive belt adhesive or the job can be handed to a professional repair service.
Before starting work, make sure the surface is free of loose contamination. While sanding, apply even pressure and guide the tool along the grain of the wood or in the direction of the surface being worked. Clean the belt of dust regularly with a brush or compressed air.
Store the roll in a dry room, away from sources of moisture and direct sunlight. Moisture can weaken the bond and reduce the effectiveness of the abrasive. Once a section has been cut from the roll, secure the edge to stop it unrolling.
When working with metals or plastics, monitor the surface temperature. Excessive sanding can overheat the material and clog the abrasive grains. In such cases, reduce the pressure or apply cooling.
