An A4 abrasive cloth sheet with P150 grit, designed for hand sanding of metal, wood and plastics. The YATO product delivers even surface sanding when preparing for further finishing.
Abrasive cloth characteristics
P150 grit – medium-grade application
P150 grit corresponds to an abrasive grain size of approximately 93–100 micrometres. It offers a balance between material removal rate and finish smoothness. Used for finish sanding and for removing minor imperfections before painting or lacquering.
A4 size for convenient hand sanding
The 210 × 297 mm dimensions make the sheet comfortable to hold during hand sanding and easy to cut into smaller pieces. The standard size is easy to store and allows precise work on hard-to-reach areas.
Versatility across materials

How to choose the right abrasive cloth grit
P150 grit falls within the medium grit range. P40–P80 grits are used for coarse material removal, P100–P180 for intermediate finishing, and P220–P400 for final sanding. To achieve a smooth surface ready for lacquer, work through several grits, finishing with P220 or finer.
Use and maintenance
Abrasive cloth is used for hand sanding by pressing it against the workpiece and using back-and-forth strokes. For even sanding, wrap the sheet around a wooden or rubber sanding block.
When working with metal, regularly brush dust off the surface of the cloth, which extends the life of the abrasive. When sanding wood, work along the grain to avoid cross-grain scratches.
Storing the cloth in a dry place protects it from moisture, which can weaken the bond between the abrasive grains and the backing. The sheets can be cut with scissors or a knife into smaller pieces to suit your needs.
