GEKO G10879 Panel Stand — 227 kg load capacity
A steel panel stand designed to hold body panels during painting and bodywork. Adjustable arm geometry and foam-covered arms allow doors, bonnets, wings and boot lids to be rested safely without the risk of damaging the surface.
Key features
Adjustable arm spacing
Arm width can be set between 42 and 84 cm and height between 65 and 100 cm. This allows the stand to accommodate panels of different sizes, from narrow wings to the wide bonnets of SUVs. Stabilising chains lock the arms in the chosen position and prevent them from shifting out of place under load.
Foam-covered arms
The upper section of the arms is covered with protective foam. The soft material eliminates the risk of scratching or denting a painted surface on contact with the metal part of the stand — particularly important for panels that have just been primed or are drying after the topcoat.
Powder-coated steel construction
The powder coating increases resistance to moisture, solvents and chipping — substances commonly found in a paint shop environment. The blue colour makes the equipment easy to identify in the workshop. The frame remains rigid at the full 227 kg load.
Folding design and non-slip feet
When folded, the stand measures 9 × 108 × 106 cm, which reduces the space it takes up during storage or transport. The leg ends are made from a non-slip material that increases grip on smooth concrete or epoxy flooring and reduces the risk of the stand sliding during work.

Matching the stand to the panel — what to look out for
Before use, check that the weight of the panel being painted does not exceed the maximum load capacity of 227 kg. For panels with an irregular shape, it is worth setting the arms asymmetrically and locking them with the chains before the weight is applied. The non-slip leg ends are effective on dry floors — on a wet or greasy surface, additional non-slip mats are recommended.
