The KD676 air hose is made from polyethylene and is designed to supply compressed air to pneumatic tools and workshop equipment. The 15-metre length gives you freedom of movement in the garage or workshop without having to move the compressor. A quick coupling is included for immediate connection to the system.
Polyethylene offers flexibility across a wide temperature range, resistance to oils and greases, and low weight. Hose made from this material does not harden at low temperatures and stays pliable even in frost, which makes it easier to work in unheated rooms.
8 bar is the typical working pressure of most compact workshop and domestic compressors. Before connecting, make sure the pressure set on the compressor regulator does not exceed this value — operating above the limit risks leaks at the couplings or damage to the hose.
The wide operating temperature range allows the hose to be used both outdoors in winter and near heat-generating equipment. However, the upper limit of +70°C rules out any contact between the hose and hot surfaces — keep a safe distance from exhaust system components and heaters.
The supplied quick coupling lets you connect the hose to the system without tools. Before buying, check that the coupling type matches the sockets on your compressor and pneumatic accessories — the most common standards are type B (euro) and type C.

A 5 mm inner diameter is suitable for tools with moderate air flow requirements. For tools that need high flow rates (e.g. angle grinders, pneumatic hammers), consider a hose with an inner diameter of 6.3 mm or more — too small a bore causes pressure drops and reduces tool performance.
After use, disconnect the hose from the system and store it coiled in loose loops — tight coiling accelerates material fatigue and causes permanent kinks. Before each use, check the condition of the couplings and the full length of the hose for cracks, scuffing or bulges. A damaged hose should be replaced — using a hose with visible defects risks a sudden leak under pressure.
Protect the hose from contact with sharp edges, moving machine parts and vehicle traffic. Prolonged exposure to direct UV light can reduce the strength of the material — storing it in a closed room or a sheltered place extends the life of the product.
