A tool for the mechanical removal of old building coatings — plaster, mortar, paint and adhesives. The aluminium body combined with steel blades ensures a durable construction while keeping the weight low.
Aluminium gives the tool rigidity at a significantly lower weight than steel. This means less strain on the wrists during many hours of work and easier handling of the tool across large wall and ceiling areas.
The steel blades offer hardness suitable for removing set building materials. The specific arrangement of the cutting edges increases scraping efficiency while maintaining control over the pressure applied.
The 450 mm width allows a larger area to be covered in a single pass, which speeds up work on large surfaces. The 90 mm height gives the tool stability and an even distribution of pressure.
The shape of the handle allows two-handed use, which is essential when removing strongly bonded materials. The layout of the grip points minimises forearm muscle fatigue during prolonged work.

Before starting work, check the condition of the blades — damaged or bent edges reduce the effectiveness of the tool. It is advisable to lightly dampen the material to be removed, which makes it easier to detach from the substrate, particularly in the case of old plaster and mortar.
The scraper should be held at an angle of 30-45 degrees to the surface, applying even pressure. When removing thicker layers of material, work in several passes rather than forcing the tool, which protects both the blades and the substrate from damage.
After finishing work, remove any material residue from the blades and the body. The aluminium body does not require anti-corrosion protection, whereas the steel blades should be protected periodically with a thin layer of oil if the tool is not going to be used for a longer period.
