Skeleton sealant gun for applying silicones, assembly adhesives, sealants and building mastics. A tool used for finishing and assembly work and for the maintenance of buildings.
The combination of aluminium and steel increases strength while reducing the weight of the tool. The aluminium body provides rigidity without placing excessive strain on the hand, while the steel components of the dispensing mechanism ensure durability under repeated use.
The skeleton design features an open frame that makes it easier to insert the cartridge and monitor the remaining material. This type of gun allows faster cartridge changes than enclosed designs, which matters when working intensively with different materials.
The piston system allows precise control of the amount of material dispensed by adjusting the pressure applied to the trigger. The quick-release mechanism stops the flow immediately when the handle is released, preventing material waste.
The gun is designed for use with higher-viscosity materials – assembly adhesives, sanitary silicones, acrylic and polyurethane sealants. The reinforced construction transmits the force needed to dispense thick compounds without deforming the tool.

The skeleton gun works with standard 280–310 ml cartridges. Before buying the material, check the cartridge diameter – most building products use standardised dimensions, but some specialist compounds may require a dedicated gun.
Before first use, check that the release mechanism works correctly – the piston release button should operate smoothly without jamming. During use, hold the gun at approximately 45 degrees to the surface to ensure an even flow of material.
After use, remove any material residue from the piston and guide rod with a cloth soaked in a solvent suitable for the type of compound. Silicone can be removed with methylated spirits, while assembly adhesives require white spirit. Lubricate the feed mechanism periodically with technical grease to extend the life of the tool.
Store the tool in a dry place, protected from moisture. If the gun has been used with aggressive materials (polyurethane adhesives, acid-cure silicones), thoroughly clean all surfaces that came into contact with the compound before putting it away.
