Universal gearbox head with a 26 mm square fitting, compatible with most petrol brushcutters available on the Polish market. The Japanese-standard design ensures durability during intensive use.
A square drive shaft ensures reliable torque transfer without slipping. The 26 mm diameter is the standard used in most petrol brushcutters up to around 1.5 kW, which makes this gearbox a universal replacement option.
The left-hand thread on the strimmer head fitting stops it working loose during operation. The direction of rotation of the brushcutter tightens rather than slackens the connection, which improves user safety.
The Japanese standard is characterised by precisely made bearings and gears, which translates into quieter operation and a longer gearbox service life. The materials used withstand the loads encountered when cutting dense vegetation.
The gearbox fits popular brushcutter brands available in Poland, provided the shaft diameter and fitting type match. Before buying, check the specifications of the original head on your brushcutter.
| Model | G81069W |
| Diameter of the mounting hole in the tube | 26 mm |
| Drive shaft fitting type | Square |
| Strimmer head fitting | M10 left-hand thread |
| Design standard | Japanese |
Before buying, remove the old head and measure the diameter of the hole in the tube (it should be 26 mm), then check the shape of the drive shaft – it must be square, not round. Also make sure the head fitting thread is M10 left-hand. If any of these parameters do not match, the unit cannot be fitted.
The angle gearbox requires regular greasing with a dedicated brushcutter gearbox grease. Check the grease level every 20–30 hours of operation and top it up through the servicing port. A lack of proper lubrication leads to bearings overheating and premature gear wear.
During fitting, tighten the bolts securing the gearbox to the tube thoroughly. A loose connection causes vibration that can damage both the gearbox and the drive shaft. After the first few hours of operation, it is worth rechecking the torque of all bolted connections.
