The KD3039 angle grinder is a power tool designed for cutting, grinding and polishing building materials, stone and wood. Its 3100 W motor and compatibility with 180 mm and 230 mm discs place it in the heavy-duty and semi-professional tool segment.

The high power output allows work with larger discs (180 mm and 230 mm) without the risk of overloading the motor when cutting hard materials such as concrete or stone. The 6500 rpm speed ensures efficient cutting while maintaining control of the tool.
Soft-start system
The gradual build-up of speed on start-up eliminates the sudden jolt of the tool, which improves operator safety. At the same time, it reduces the mechanical load on the gearbox — the manufacturer claims more than double its service life compared with tools without this system.
Ergonomics and handle configuration
The main handle, covered with a non-slip material, ensures a secure grip even when wearing work gloves. The additional top handle can be mounted on the left or right side of the body, allowing the configuration to be adapted to the working conditions and the operator's preference.
Safety features and guard
The switch lock prevents accidental start-up of the tool. The spindle lock makes disc changes easier by removing the need to hold the spindle by hand. The rotating disc guard directs sparks and material debris away from the operator and can be adjusted according to the cutting direction.
Compatibility with the mains supply
The grinder can be powered from circuits protected by a 16 A fuse. Before connecting, make sure that no other high-power devices are operating on the same circuit at the same time, to avoid tripping the fuse.

Use and maintenance
Before changing the disc, disconnect the grinder from the power supply and use the spindle lock. Discs must be selected to suit the material being worked — metal cutting discs are not suitable for use on concrete, and vice versa. After every working session, the motor's ventilation openings should be cleaned of accumulated dust with compressed air, which prevents the windings from overheating.
When working with dust-generating materials (concrete, stone), a dust mask of at least FFP2 class and safety goggles are recommended. The disc guard does not replace the operator's personal protective equipment.
