The KD479 ash separator is an attachment that traps ash before it reaches the vacuum cleaner filter, protecting it from clogging and premature wear. The unit works with many vacuum cleaner models fitted with a 34 mm hose.

Centrifugal ash separation
The material drawn in enters the separator container, where centrifugal force separates the ash particles from the air stream. The air reaching the vacuum cleaner is considerably cleaner, which reduces filter clogging and extends filter life.
20 L container
The 20 litre capacity lets you empty a stove or barbecue without having to stop work frequently. The cylindrical shape of the container (Ø 285 × 280 mm) makes it easy to empty and clean.
Maximum temperature 60°C
The separator is intended solely for ash that has cooled to a maximum of 60°C. This limit must be strictly observed — drawing in hotter material risks damaging the unit or causing a fire.

How to check compatibility with your vacuum cleaner
The KD479 separator works with vacuum cleaners fitted with a hose of 34 mm internal diameter. The hose diameter of your vacuum cleaner can be measured with callipers or found in the unit's manual. If the diameter is different, a reducer is required.
Use and maintenance
Before use, make sure the ash has cooled to a temperature no higher than 60°C. Drawing in hot or glowing material is not permitted. The separator container must be emptied regularly — operating with a full container reduces separation efficiency and may cause dust to be drawn back into the vacuum cleaner. After each use, check that the hose connections are leak-tight to prevent uncontrolled release of dust into the surroundings.
