A ball end hex key is a tool that allows work at an angle to the axis of the screw. The YT-1534 model, made from tool steel, combines the function of a standard hex key with access to fasteners in confined assembly spaces.
The rounded working end allows the key to be inserted at an angle of up to 25 degrees to the axis of the screw. This makes it possible to work in places where perpendicular access is restricted by structural or housing components.
The hexagonal cross-section of the handle provides a secure grip and enables torque transfer. This design stops the tool from turning in the hand when tightening threaded fasteners.
The extended shaft increases the reach of the tool, allowing work in deep recesses and mounting holes. This length is particularly useful when working with precision engineering components and domestic appliance assembly.
The material it is made from provides resistance to twisting and abrasive wear. Hardened steel retains its mechanical properties even under intensive use in workshop conditions.

The ball end allows the key to be inserted at an angle, which reduces torque compared with perpendicular use. It is advisable to tighten initially with the ball end and to carry out the final tightening with the straight end or a standard hex key in order to apply full torque.
The 5 mm hex key fits screws with a hex socket marked H5 or SW5. Before starting work, check that the size matches, as using the wrong key will damage the screw socket.
After use, remove any contamination from the surface of the key. If it comes into contact with corrosive substances, wipe the tool and protect it with a thin layer of oil. Storing it in a dry place extends its service life.
