Self-levelling cross line laser with vertical and horizontal line projection. The unit can also project diagonal lines at any angle using the self-levelling lock mechanism.
The automatic levelling mechanism ensures accurate line alignment within the compensation range. The lock function allows lines to be projected at any angle, which is useful for setting out diagonal guides or stairs.
The unit operates in cross mode — projecting vertical and horizontal lines simultaneously. There is no option to switch off an individual line, which means simpler operation but higher battery consumption when only one plane is needed.
An effective range of 15-20 metres works well in residential rooms and small commercial premises. An accuracy of ±3 mm over 10 metres means a maximum deviation of 6 mm across the full length of a room — a typical figure for entry-level lasers.
The laser is powered by three AA (LR6) batteries. No runtime is stated, but devices of this type typically run for 4-8 hours on one set of batteries, depending on ambient temperature and frequency of use.
| Model | G03302 |
| Laser class | 2 (safe for short-term exposure, goggles required for prolonged use) |
| Beam colour | Red (wavelength approx. 635 nm) |
| Levelling accuracy | ±3 mm/10 m |
| Working range | 15-20 m (depending on lighting conditions) |
| Operating modes | Cross (vertical + horizontal line) |
| Additional functions | Self-levelling lock (diagonal line projection) |
| Power supply | 3× AA (LR6) 1.5 V battery |
| Mounting | 1/4" tripod thread (photographic standard) |
| Compensation range | No data available (typically ±3-4°) |
| Supplied with | Laser, pouch, mounting clip with 1/4" thread, 3× AA batteries |
The 1/4" thread is the standard used on photographic and builders' tripods. The laser can be mounted on standard laser tripods, photographic tripods and telescopic builder's poles fitted with a 1/4" threaded head. The supplied mounting clip also allows it to be attached to profiles and edges.
Check the accuracy of the laser before using it for the first time. To do this, compare the projected vertical line against a plumb line or spirit level, and the horizontal line against a bubble level over a distance of several metres.
During use, protect the laser from knocks and drops — the self-levelling mechanism is sensitive to mechanical damage. After use, store the unit in the supplied pouch.
Batteries should be removed if the laser is not going to be used for a long period — this prevents leakage and damage to the battery compartment. At low temperatures (below 5°C), battery runtime is reduced.
The red laser beam has limited visibility in strong natural or artificial light. In such conditions, it is advisable to dim the room, use a laser target or work in the evening. Green lasers are an alternative, as they are more visible in bright light.
