A protective cover made from reinforced 600D Oxford fabric with a PVC coating, designed to protect gas barbecues from the weather. Compatible with the Yato YG-20012, YG-20013, YG-20016, YG-20017 and YG-20030 barbecues.
Features of the barbecue cover
600D Oxford fabric with PVC coating
The 600D rating refers to the density of the woven fibres in denier (600 threads per square inch), which translates into high mechanical strength. The PVC coating forms a waterproof barrier, preventing moisture from penetrating inside the cover. A fabric weight of 240 g/m² gives the cover rigidity and resistance to tearing.
UV protection
The PVC layer contains UV inhibitors that block harmful solar radiation. This stops the barbecue's colours from fading, plastic parts from cracking and rubber seals from degrading. Particularly important when the barbecue is stored outdoors all year round.
Velcro fastening system
Two Velcro straps at the ends of the cover keep it securely attached to the barbecue frame. This prevents the cover from being torn off by the wind and removes the need for additional ropes or weights. The Velcro retains its holding power throughout the life of the cover.

How to check whether the cover fits your barbecue
Measure your barbecue in three dimensions: length from the left to the right edge (including fixed side shelves), width from front to back, and height from the ground to the highest point of the lid. Allow 5-10 cm of clearance on each dimension so the cover slips easily over the frame. Also check the manufacturer's list of compatible models.
Use and care
Before fitting the cover, make sure the barbecue is completely cold. A hot surface can damage the fabric and deform the PVC coating. Spread the cover evenly over the whole barbecue and fasten the Velcro straps on both sides.
Clean the 600D Oxford fabric with its PVC coating using a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Avoid solvent-based products, which can damage the PVC coating. After cleaning, leave the cover to dry in a well-ventilated place before fitting it again.
In strong winds it is worth securing the cover further by checking the Velcro fastenings. When the barbecue is stored in a garage or another indoor space for long periods, the cover provides extra protection against dust while still allowing ventilation thanks to the breathability of the fabric.
