A stainless steel SS201 work table designed for commercial catering use. Bolt-together construction with a reinforced top, undershelf and rear upstand that stops items sliding off the back.

SS201 stainless steel for commercial catering
SS201 is an austenitic stainless steel that resists corrosion in damp environments and contact with food. Its smooth, non-porous surface makes it easy to keep hygienic and meets the sanitary requirements of commercial catering premises. Welded joints without gaps prevent bacteria from collecting.
Reinforced 0.8 mm top
The top is made from 0.8 mm steel sheet with additional reinforcing profiles and a 20 mm laminated wooden board underneath. The board stiffens the construction, deadens sound and resists moisture. This build provides a load capacity of up to 150 kg while keeping the table stable.
100 mm rear upstand
The 100 mm vertical edge at the back of the top stops products and waste falling behind the table when it is positioned against a wall. This improves hygiene at work and makes it easier to keep the room clean.
Bolt-together construction with adjustable legs
The bolt-together system allows the table to be transported in a compact package and assembled quickly without specialist tools. The round-profile legs are adjustable by ±15 mm, so the table can be levelled on uneven floors. Plastic feet protect the surface from scratching.

Assembly and use
Assembling the bolt-together construction
The table parts are supplied in a compact cardboard box. Assembly involves joining the top to the legs and fitting the undershelf using the bolts and nuts provided. Once assembled, adjust the leg height by turning the adjustable feet to level the table on the floor. The process takes around fifteen minutes and requires no specialist tools.
Cleaning and maintaining stainless steel
Clean SS201 steel with products intended for catering surfaces, avoiding preparations containing chlorine and abrasive sponges. After washing, wipe the surface dry to prevent water marks. Regular cleaning maintains the steel's corrosion resistance and appearance.
Load distribution
The 150 kg capacity refers to a load distributed evenly across the whole surface of the top. When placing heavy equipment, position it stably and avoid putting point loads on the edges. The undershelf has a 35 kg capacity and is intended for storing lighter items and containers.
