A brass connector with a barbed hose tail that provides a durable connection between a garden hose with a 19 mm internal diameter and equipment fitted with a 3/4" female thread. The brass construction resists corrosion and delivers many years of service.

3/4" male thread
A thread with a nominal diameter of 3/4 inch (20.96 mm) fits standard garden fittings, valves, manifolds and other equipment with a 3/4" female thread. Check thread compatibility before installation – the standard thread used is a G3/4 cylindrical thread.
19 mm barbed hose tail
The multi-step barbed tail ensures a tight fit in a hose with a 19 mm internal diameter. The ribs on the surface hold the hose in position, and additional securing with hose clips guarantees a connection that withstands the working pressure of the system.
Brass construction

How to check hose compatibility
A hose internal diameter of 19 mm corresponds to standard 3/4" garden hoses. Before buying, measure the internal diameter of the hose or check the marking on its surface. The hose should stretch over the barbed tail with slight resistance – a fit that is too loose can lead to leaks.
Installation and use
Before installation, clean the thread of any contamination and check the condition of the female thread on the equipment concerned. Screw the hose tail in by hand until it resists, then tighten it with a spanner by a further 1–1.5 turns. Over-tightening can damage the thread or crack the body of the equipment.
The hose is pushed onto the barbed tail as far as it will go and secured with a hose clip. Metal clips with a tightening screw are recommended, as they provide a more secure connection than spring clips. After installation, check the system for leaks at working pressure.
Maintenance and storage
Brass requires no special maintenance. At the end of the garden season, disconnect the hose, drain the water from the system and store the components in a dry place. Regularly checking the condition of the thread and the barbed surface allows wear to be detected early.
