Broken Spark Plug Extractor Kit KD12529
KD12529 is a workshop tool kit designed for removing broken spark plugs from the cylinder head. A sheared spark plug — particularly when its threaded section is left behind in the thread — is one of the harder faults to put right on your own. The kit contains tips in a range of sizes to suit the spark plug sizes commonly used in petrol engines.

When to use a spark plug extractor

The extractor grips the remaining part of the plug from inside or outside the thread and allows it to be removed without damaging the thread in the head. Before use, soak the area with penetrating fluid and leave it for ten to fifteen minutes.

Steel parts are prone to corrosion on prolonged contact with moisture, so it is advisable to oil them lightly before putting them away for storage.
