A polypropylene packing tape designed for sealing boxes and parcels. The standard 48 mm width provides an optimal sealing surface when packing items of different sizes.
Features of polypropylene packing tape
Polypropylene material
Tape made from polypropylene offers good tensile strength and tear resistance. The PP material remains flexible while retaining its mechanical strength, which matters when packing boxes of different board weights.
Adhesive layer
The acrylic adhesive coated onto the PP backing bonds to cardboard surfaces, including corrugated board. The adhesive layer holds the seal at the room temperatures typical of warehouses and transport.
48 mm width
A standard packing tape width used throughout logistics and e-commerce. It provides a sufficient sealing surface for boxes ranging from small parcels to medium-sized transit cartons.
40-metre length

Using PP tape
Applying the tape
PP packing tape requires a dispenser (tape gun) with a cutting blade. The dispenser makes it easier to measure out the right length and cuts the tape without the need for scissors. When applying, press the tape firmly onto the box surface so that the adhesive layer makes full contact with the substrate.
Storage conditions
Packing tape should be stored at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure to high temperatures or moisture can affect the properties of the adhesive layer. Rolls should be stored upright or in their original packaging.
