Features of the cable fixing kit
Range of fixing components
The kit contains five types of fixing: round nail-in cable clips, self-adhesive clips, mounting clips, cable ties and hook-and-loop tape. This variety makes it possible to select the right fixing for the cable type, the surface and the requirements of the installation.
Cable ties, 20 cm
The kit includes 20 cable ties, 20 cm long. They are used to bundle cable runs, secure cables into bunches and fix them to supporting structures. Single use ensures a permanent connection that cannot come loose accidentally.
Hook-and-loop tape, 2.5 x 30 cm
Three pieces of hook-and-loop tape allow cables to be fixed and removed repeatedly without damage. The 2.5 cm width provides a firm hold, while the 30 cm length is sufficient to wrap around thicker cable bundles. A useful solution in places where the configuration changes frequently.
Compartment case
The kit components are stored in a practical case divided into compartments. This system of organisation provides quick access to the required type of fixing, prevents the components from mixing and allows stock levels of individual items to be checked.

Fixing types and their applications
Round nail-in cable clips
Designed for fixing single cables to wooden or soft surfaces. The nail is driven in with a hammer, and the round shape of the clip holds the cable without crushing the insulation. Available in various sizes to suit cable diameters, from thin telecommunications cables to thicker power cables.
Self-adhesive cable clips
Fitted without drilling or hammering – simply peel off the protective film and press onto a clean, degreased surface. They work well on ceramic tiles, glass, metal equipment housings and furniture. The adhesive layer provides a durable hold at room temperature.
Mounting clips
Universal fixing components that need to be screwed or fastened with screws. They are used to route cable bundles along walls, ceilings and supporting structures. The ten pieces in the kit are sufficient to secure cable runs several metres in length.
Use and maintenance
Before fitting self-adhesive clips, clean and degrease the surface – this improves the adhesion of the adhesive layer. Drive nail-in clips in perpendicular to the surface, avoiding excessive force that could damage the cable insulation.
Tighten cable ties gradually, checking the tension – over-tightening can damage the cable bundle. After cutting off the excess, leave around 5 mm protruding in case the tie needs to be tightened again.
Hook-and-loop tape can be washed with soapy water when soiled, which restores its fixing properties. Dry the tape thoroughly before reusing it.
Store the kit components in the original case in a dry room. Protect self-adhesive clips from dust and moisture, which weaken the adhesive layer.
