Cable ties made from polyamide PA66, 450 mm long and 9 mm wide. The set contains 50 black cable ties designed for organising wiring, securing components and for workshop and garden applications.
Features of Yato cable ties
Polyamide PA66 - mechanical strength
The PA66 material offers high resistance to stretching and tearing. It provides a secure hold under loads of up to 80 kg, which makes the ties suitable for securing heavy cable bundles and fastening structural components.
Resistance to outdoor conditions
Polyamide PA66 is resistant to UV radiation, moisture and fluctuating temperatures. The ties retain their mechanical properties between -40°C and +85°C, which allows them to be used both indoors and outdoors.
Ratchet locking mechanism
The locking mechanism uses a precision ratchet that locks the tie once it is tightened. The design prevents the joint from working loose during use and ensures a lasting hold without the need for additional tools.
Maximum bundle diameter 108 mm

Flammability rating UL-94 V-2
The UL-94 V-2 rating means that the material extinguishes within 30 seconds of the ignition source being removed, but it may briefly drip burning plastic. The V-2 rating is sufficient for most installation applications where the ties are not exposed to direct contact with high temperatures.
Use and maintenance
Cable ties are single-use items - once tightened, they cannot be reopened without destroying the locking mechanism. Before fitting, prepare the cable bundle or the item to be secured so that no adjustments are needed afterwards.
To fit a tie, thread its end through the opening in the locking head and pull it tight until the required tension is reached. Any excess length can be trimmed with snips or side cutters, leaving around 5-10 mm protruding from the head.
Where ties are used outdoors, check their condition regularly, particularly in locations exposed to intense UV radiation or large temperature fluctuations. Polyamide PA66 retains its properties for many years, but under extreme conditions it may need replacing after 3-5 years of use.
Choosing the right tie length
Before buying, measure the circumference of the cable bundle or the item to be secured. The 450 mm length is sufficient to secure bundles of up to 108 mm in diameter (circumference around 340 mm). If the bundle has a larger diameter, choose longer ties. Allow 50-80 mm of spare length for tightening and any final adjustment.
